💗💗💗💗💗 I give it five hearts as well five stars, Shag was a man-whore at first and had other abuses to his self. But you could see why in his past when he saw Cadie at a concert which her bbf had won, that started the romance. It was a rock start and Cadie had a hurtful past as well about her looks she was plus- size, which I love. Her and her bbf which name was robin also won a cruise with the band, but Shag had a jealous personal assistant that wanted him. That did not stop Cadie and shag getting to together but there last night some thing happen that broke them up and put shag band in jeopardy. Months later he had to put on a readily show on Meeting his mate to keep his band, he also finds his mother is in love with Cadie father. What I loved about Cadie is her goodness and sweetness with shag, at first she was mad but when he told her about the things that happen, she was there for him and he needed a new assistant so they go to the island to film the show and things started happening that crept them apart, like the owner of the island, he was a good guy, but a old love of shag shows for the show . The ending was great, the sex scenes was hot and I just loved the story. Would recommend this book to all romances readers!Product details

So I may not know much about Taboo subject but it seems that it is lighting up in the writing world. Many authors are writing about step siblings or parents and the attraction that can build over time or right of the bat. My take is that if you're not blood what's the difference?
After reading this book by C.L. Riley, I can say that she did a great job in the step sibling Taboo. Sean "Shag" Steal meets Cadie O'Shea one night and can't forget her. Cadie on the other hand can't stand Shag and ignores him, until the winners of the Cruise is announced at the concert Cadie was wrangled into going to. Her bf Robin is the lucky winner and will be dragging Cadie along for the 10 at sea with Crude Element. Did i mention Shag is the lead singer of a band...oops. Well a funny thing happens Cadie ends up liking Shag against her better judgement. ten days of bliss with a rock star and hot sex is just what Cadie needed to eliminate the mean words of her former boyfriend.
Riley explores different aspects of subjects here and is great in the telling of two people who may be related one day by marriage (not blood). Fate is a funny thing at times and the authors do a great job of making it work. Riley's writing flowed perfectly and I am enjoying books with the perspective of both characters. Hot and sexy with a curvy chick as the heroine and a rock star as the hero (so to speak) makes for intriguing reading so find out what happens by picking up a copy.
This was the first book I read by C.L. Riley and I really enjoyed it. Hopefully more books will come with the rest of the band members.
This was a great read! I really enjoyed the mystery in the story. I couldn't put the book down. I can't wait for the next book in the series!!
I love reading Rock Romance books so I couldn't wait to read this. I was so happy when I received it early! This book had me screaming and had me laughing! I love the little twist, that I didn't see coming. I hope the rest of the band member each get their own book!! Great job C.L. Riley!!
It was a great read. It had great characters and a interesting story line that will keep you reading. I can't wait to read more books in this series. Rated very good
I picked up this book , I couldn't put it down!!! Cadie friend Robin ( big fan Crude Element) wins trip on a cruise ship & takes Cadie's-Shag is the lead singer for Crude Element who is sponsoring the contest. They both have things in there pass ,but once Shag lays eyes Cadie it instant attraction , chemistry between them was sizzling!
Then you find out that Cadie's Dad is dating Shag's Mom 😱! This was so DIFFERENT SO ORIGINAL! I don't want to give away all the twists and turns C.L RILEY had me hooked from the beginning and couldn't wait to see where she was taking me. C.L will keep the you on your toes and you will fall .........in love !
Can't wait to see what else C.L has for me!
I'd like to start off and say that I absolutely love CL Riley and her books but unfortunately for me this was not one of my favorites. While it was a good book and I did like the characters for some reason I was expecting a "groupie book", at least that's the impression I got with all the hype prior to the release so it was a bit of a let down after I started reading this story and realized the story wasn't how I envisioned it to be. After the initial "huh?" I did embrace this story and I really like story lines where the hot guy falls for the not so perfect girl or the typical body type you would think a hot rock star would go for. The book was a bit corny with references to famous people like "Brian" Seacrest, etc or "LMZ" instead of TMZ and I was a bit disappointed that there were so many typos since I don't recall this being a problem with her prior work. Overall it was a decent easy read with a cute plot.
